Well, we are home and to be honest with you it almost feels weird to be back. I absolutely love Mexico and spending time with my family and since years pass before we get to see each other I already miss them!! I think Tim will get on here soon and tell you his perspective as a first time traveler out of the country. We had a great trip!!! We ate sooo much food that Tim mentioned that for the first time in his life he wouldn't mind fasting but it was all incredibly delicious! We also spent a lot of time with my family touring the city and doing fun things! We went shopping a few times-I love the little posts that are on the streets there 'cause there are always cute little things to buy, like jewelry and fun treats. We also went hiking to some gorgeous waterfalls, we went to the movies a couple times with my little cousins (get this-a movie ticket there is less than $3-one of my aunts couldn't believe it when I told her that they cost up to $9 here!), we went to some ruins, we went to the beach and the port of Veracruz, we went to a wax museum and aquarium in Veracruz, we hiked more and had picnics up in the jungly parts of Xalapa, we toured an old hacienda, all the boys in the family played soccer together which is by far there favorite sport(my dad and Tim were definitely not as experienced as the rest of the family but I think they had a good time and it was fun to watch them play), we walked around beautiful lakes, and we even had a huge birthday party for my grandma and uncle! It was tons and tons and tons of fun!! We will have to have people over for some yummy Mexican food sometime:) Here are some pictures from our trip. We took a lot and I like to show off Mexico, so bear with me...
Here we are in front of the cathedral in downtown Xalapa
Some city views
Our hike to the waterfall
One of my aunts also took us to a city called Xico. Everyone that lives there worships this certain saint and they were preparing to celebrate her bday. They decorated the street for several miles with painted saw dust which the whole town walks down on the day of the celebration. It was very interesting.
Dance party with my cousins :)
The ruins
Just outside where we walked around the ruins, there were these guys performing. They travel around the country performing. They hang off this huge pole and then "fly" down. The guy at the top is standing on nothing but a little drum that he is dancing on!
The beach
The wax museum-our celebrity shots with Brad Pitt, a famous Mexican singer named Lucero and the pope :)
The aquarium in Veracruz-there were soo many HUGE and really cool fish and animals but they would swim by so fast that I didn't get many good picts
The port of Veracruz
More walks and hikes-look how close we got to these eagles
My wonderful family
A lake we walked around and the surrounding park
Well, that turned out to be really long but we were gone for 2 weeks! There is still way more I could post and talk about, but I can't hog ALL the blog:) We hope to see everyone soon!!

Mexico!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ya know, I just have to say that Mexico really is the best place in the world!! We are having soooo much fun and it will be hard to go back home to real life at the end of the week! But I am grateful for the opportunity we´ve had to spend some time with my family!! We´ve done lots of fun things and eaten incredible amounts of good food which we will have all to tell you more about and post pictures of when we have faster internet. Tim is totally motivated to learn Spanish now and has actually picked up some of the language while we´ve been here. I keep telling him that it would be fun to come live here for a year after he graduates and now that he has been here he totally agrees! He´ll for sure have to learn Spanish well first, but we´ll keep practicing it. Especially since I want our little girl to learn it. Well, we love you all!

4th of July in Cache Valley!
The 4th of July was a lot of fun! On Monday we went and watched the fireworks from the grass at the school I work at. They don't do fireworks on the actual 4th in Logan since they really can't compete with the ones in Salt Lake and everyone that wants see good fireworks just drives down there. We had a great time hanging out with friends here, though! Then on Tuesday night, we had a BBQ with Tim's family up here. It was nice that for once they all came up to Cache Valley instead of us having to drive down! I think the big motivator, though, was that Tim's brother in Hyrum has the family boat up here which we took out on Wednesday :) The family had fun fishing in the morning and then water skiing and tubing throughout the day! We also went to the 4th of July parade. It was VERY, VERY hot outside but the kids loved it 'cause they got sooo much candy thrown out to them! We hope everyone else had a fun 4th too!! We would love to hear all about them :)
These are our 2 cute nieces-the only girls in a family with 15 grandkids! I have a hunch that they are a big part of the reason that Tim wanted us to have a little girl so bad. These 2 ADORE him and always want to follow him around and have all his attention and I think he likes that :) We are sooo excited to have our own little girl in the near future!!!!!!
